Number of pieces, prep (chemical stripping, media blasting, pre-wash, etc.), product masking, color (non-stock colors are more expensive) and cure times are the main factors affecting cost.

The maximum size of item that can be powder coated depends on the size of our oven. Our oven can accommodate items up to 5-1/2 feet in length.

There are thousands of color and textures available to choose from. Most powder coat manufacturers offer basic to multi-stage colors in a wide range of finishes and sheens. If we do not have what you are looking for in stock we are more than happy to order the color of your choice. We also offer a color matching service if your part/product needs to be an exact match to an existing coating or previously coated materials. 

Our lead times are usually 3-5 weeks depending on the scope of your project and production schedules. We can always expedite your project for $150 or 15% of the order subtotal. Please call or message us for up to date turnaround times.

We use a multi-stage pre-treatment process that includes a thorough cleaning of the surface utilizing a chemical treatment to remove any oil or chemical contaminants and promote adhesion of the powder coating. We also offer chemical stripping and media blasting services for any parts or products that have been previously coated.

Powder coating and painting are both methods for adding color and protection to a surface. However, powder coating is more durable, longer-lasting, chemical resistant, UV protected and environmentally friendly compared to traditional painting methods. 

Typically any metal or conductive parts that needs a durable, protective coating against corrosion or oxidation, and can withstand temperatures over 400 degrees. Powder coating is widely used in the manufacturing, industrial, automotive, large equipment and metal fabrication industries.

Parts and products should be delivered or shipped to us free of oil, grease, rubber seals and/or bearings. This streamlines the process for product pre-treatment, prep and the coating process.
